We are happy having been part of the recent study of WhatAVenture - Corporate Venture Builder. WhatAVenture has partnered with over 250 clients, tackling diverse innovation challenges and navigating the unique hurdles of venture building. They gathered insights based on interviews and a survey with over 30 corporate venture building managers and venture architects across mid-sized to large corporates.
💡The outsome?💡 A spotlight on fundamental elements critical to corporate venture building goals guiding corporate venture initiatives, the mechanics of an efficient setup and governance, the strategic allocation of resources, a pragmatic analysis of success cases, and a candid look at the challenges. #DealDone! inio has a new owner!
Driven by the idea and sparked by the belief that "Everyone has the right to good light at home," especially during the lockdown due to COVID-19, our vision materialized into a market-ready product by 2022, named inio one. For us at REHAU New Ventures, inio is more than a product, the team actually turned a smart concept into a series-ready sensation at warp speed. Still being convinced that Human Centric Light is a very interesting field to innovate in, we however decided in 2023 to sell the business and to stop the New Ventures activities. Our decision was mainly influenced by the belief that New Ventures will not be the right place to develop and scale the inio business further.
However, the industry somehow agreed that Human Centric Light is are very interesting area and so we were able to sell our first venture to an external investor who literally fall in love with the product and will now continue to sell inio lamps to the outside world. 🚀💰
The new owner, the Landwehr + Schultz Trafo GmbH is a well established player within the area of electronics and it is great to see how innovative a traditional company can be. 2024 will be a very exciting year for euerzuhause. Following the launch of the new house directorylast year, the team has been working tirelessly to relaunch the website and publish it in time for the new year. These were the first milestones for the next important steps on the euerzuhause journey: Build a solid core product and prepare future growth, this is on the agenda as well as the hunt for external investors in order to bring euerzuhause to through the next financing round.

homerenu: the hunt for investors just started!
Our venture homerenu, a cutting-edge US company that empowers builders and captivates homeowners is now huntin for external investors. The idea is based on the concept to streamline the design and document generation for contractors using AI in order to allow them working more efficient, saving costs and concentrate on what they do best. Right now our Co Founder Brad Doering is putting a lot of focus on speaking to external investors such as strategic investors but also Venture Capitalists in order to get the necessary funds to bring homerenu to the next level.
